I Invite you for medicine wheel -oracle reading & healing where we work with seven directions: East. South West, North. In shamanic reality the medicine wheel is a sphere incorporating the tree words (Upper, Lover and Center )

I work with seven directions as this is what I've been developing during my shamanic training and it feels right to follow and invite all seven directions to work with us.

This session is to individually adopt your needs and my intention is to hold space that will support your inner healing but also will connect you more strongly with your intuition and power within you.

Session is happening by donation and it might take up to 2 hours as a combination of healing and guidance.

HEALING GUIDANCE SUPPORT

ON THE SESSION:

A sacred space is held where we talk about what your need is and what the issues of concern are. Care is taken to establish what the focus of your intent is, what you wish to understand and what your expectations are. The clarity that is given is important, as it establishes precisely the energetic constellation of the issue as it is envisioned, therefore enabling a more potent intent in the work. Before the work commences you’ll be invited to participate in consciously naming and establishing your own inner resourcing through a short meditation. This adds another safe, supportive structure that you’ll be able to call on at any point during the process.

Each session is starting with sharing, and verbally expressing the situation. Afterward I open a sacred space inviting spirit helpers: angelic beings, ancestors, native people, power animal spirits and other beings of light according to the person's own spiritual tradition are very common helpers coming to be of service.

Each session is between 60-120 minutes working on a one-to-one basis. I welcome your inquiry if you choose to get in touch to book or discuss how we can work together.

Invitation to look for guidance, observing patterns, shapes, rhythms, cycles, symbols supported by oracle cards and The Seven Directions of the Medicine Wheel.

WHAT IS A MEDICINE WHEEL

The Medicine Wheel, sometimes known as the Sacred Hoop, has been used by generations of various Native American tribes for health and healing. It embodies the Four Directions, as well as Father Sky, Mother Earth, and Spirit Tree—all of which symbolize dimensions of health and the cycles of life.

In Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Native American culture believes that everything has a spirit - a voice, a meaning, and a power, being called Orenda and it’s the basis of energy. By using this energy properly and living a life in harmony, we can cultivate a balanced life.

The Medicine Wheel is an ancient symbol of the sacred hoop of life — or the circle of life in Native American culture. It has been used for thousands of years. Different Nations have different ways of interpreting the Medicine Wheel — the colors, specific uses, symbols as plants, animals, and meanings.

The Lakota, Ojibwa, and Cree Nations, to name a few, have researched and used the Medicine Wheel in therapy for PTSD, trauma release, stress management, problem solving, conflict resolution, business consulting, and more. There are some basics of the Medicine Wheel that are the same across cultures and others that are different.

How you use the Medicine Wheel can be highly personal.

The Medicine Wheel can take many different forms. It can be an artwork such as artefact or painting, or it can be a physical construction on the land. Hundreds or even thousands of Medicine Wheels have been built on Native lands in North America over the last several centuries.

Movement in the Medicine Wheel and in Native American ceremonies is circular, and typically in a clockwise, or “sun-wise” direction. This helps to align with the forces of Nature, such as gravity and the rising and setting of the Sun.

MEANINGS OF THE FOUR DIRECTIONS

Different tribes interpret the Medicine Wheel differently. Each of the Four Directions (East, South, West, and North) is typically represented by a distinctive color, such as black, red, yellow, and white, which for some stands for the human races.

THE DIRECTIONS CAN ALSO REPRESENT

Stages of life: birth, youth, adult (or elder), death

Seasons of the year: spring, summer, winter, fall

Aspects of life: spiritual, emotional, intellectual, physical

Elements of nature: fire (or sun), air, water, and earth

Animals: Eagle, Bear, Wolf, Buffalo and many others

Ceremonial plants: tobacco, sweet grass, sage, cedar

The circle is a sacred symbol for many Indigenous cultures, holding deep spiritual and cultural significance honoring the circle of our ancestors as we we carry our ancestors and their strength within us.

Seven is a sacred number in Native American culture. Within the Medicine Wheel are the following seven directions:

THE SEVEN DIRECTIONS

WEST

The West represents the physical body and introspective aspects, adulator, and autumn,

the setting sun, and the color black.

This is the moment where our ideas are coming into physical form and we can see them in action, so we can recognize how we want to live our lives. We can also see what is not working any more as we are asked to move forward, to honor and take care of ourselves because we now know the difference between self-care and being selfish. If we are willing to respect ourselves and others.

 Power animals: associated bear

Plants : tobacco

SOUTH

The South represents the emotional body, adolescence, and the summer season. It's associated with the sun at its peak, summer, and the color red. It represents youth, growth, and the element of fire. Spiritually, it's connected to emotional development, passion, and action.

It’s where we work out our emotions and relationships with others, where we confront ourselves with people, ideas, and experiences. It is the time for taking our vision and testing it out (or going on a vision quest). We might ask ourselves what our values and identity are to understand what works for us and. what others teach us.

By looking at the South, we can move from confusion to wisdom. It’s also a place where we learn patience and commitment, moving from feeling like we have to have a result right now, to being willing to put in the time and work for those results.

Power animals: associated with the wolf or coyote

Plants :sweetgrass and sage are also linked to this direction.

CENTER

The center of the circle is you. It’s where you realize that you are in  control. You can shed everything others have told you. You stop looking to other people to tell you what to do and listen to your own body and inner wisdom. You focus on being who you are with authenticity. Feeling yourself in the center of the circle can be tremendously transformational because you can look to all other directions and honor all emotions without fearing the negative ones. This is where you can find meaning on your journey, even if you are in a phase of your life that is particularly difficult. Find your inner strength and trust that your wellbeing is in your hands.

ABOVE

This upward direction represents Father Sky and your higher self. Looking in this direction, you recognize that you are part of the circle of life, the intersection of eternity. This is where you learn to become who you are and give of yourself from this place.

BELOW

The downward direction represents Mother Earth and our connection to her, along with our connection to the soil. We learn that our Mother, the Earth, is always there supporting us. In this direction, we realize we have the opportunity for growth and as we feel our connection to Mother Earth, we are always safe.

NORTH

North: Represents the mental and spiritual aspects, the elder, ancestors wisdom, the winter season that is related to the color white.

The North represents the true source of all things, Creator, Orenda, or Great Spirit energy. In this direction, we can understand the process of change and recognize that we find our place in the world by seeing things through to their completion. In this direction, we often find clarity and deep wisdom and trust

Power animals: often associated with the buffalo

Plants : cedar

EAST

Beginning of our journey, It represents the mental body, often associated with the rising sun, new beginnings, and the color yellow. It represents birth, childhood, spring, and the element of air. Spiritually, it's linked to wisdom, enlightenment, and new perspectives.

If you feel empty, you can look to the East to bring awareness. If you are stressed, you look to the East to heal from trauma (or PTSD). This is where we seek purification, healing, and renewal.

Power animals: symbolized by the eagle

Plants :sweetgrass
